Wintry Sapphire Valley

Sapphire Valley is reporting about 8" of fresh snow this morning and now a very fine sleet is falling - as of 10:15AM

This will be one of the best prep weeks for Ski Sapphire in recent memory! Not only has the snow ops team already laid down over 2 feet of snow on the sloppes, this cold weather and natural snow will keep things nice and chilly at the ski area for the opening day on 15 Dec.

Let is Snow - and we mean snow!!!

Not only is Ski Sapphire Valley making a ton of snow, some snow whales now over 12 feet high!!! ... but the National Weather Service is calling for a winter storm in the area starting this weekend! 

So far, this looks to be the best opening weekend (Dec 15) ever!
